Birch Tree Manor in Wirral, is a sixty-two bed residential care facility that takes on requirements for respite and nursing care, as well as welcoming dementia sufferers. Situated in a pleasant area of Merseyside, Birch Tree staff are able to tailor personal care packages, focused on the needs of each particular resident, in terms of medication, diet and lifestyle.

Birch Tree has a twenty bed EMI unit with elderly patients suffering from advanced dementia, this unit can sometimes have aggressive residents so experience is key.

£250 upon successful completion of probation.

As a Registered mental health nurse you will be expected to work closely alongside residents to help them cope more easily with day-to-day life as well as provide them with vital support in order to help them achieve their goals. Typical duties will include the provision of therapy, assistance, and/or basic care.
